Vista, CA (April 18, 2016) – Directed announced today the release of MIT6 Firmware, a new software solution for 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander regular key vehicles, adding to its long list of Mitsubishi-supporting firmware.
The new MIT6 firmware features immobilizer override (with no key required), comfort and convenience feature support, and RSR compatibility. This new firmware solution supports both DBALL2 and digital system installations, as well 3X Lock Start & Stop (for RSR and digital systems only). MIT6 requires Key2GO, which allows simple system installation and programming.
“With technology options for new vehicles constantly evolving, Directed keeps pace by developing new firmware packages for every nuance,” said James Turner, Vice President of Product Management and Engineering. “MIT6 provides the same level of fully-featured support as our firmware for other Mitsubishi Outlander vehicles, allowing easy integration of Directed security and convenience systems.”
